Hawks come up with a tough win against Clippers

On Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020, the Atlanta Hawks hosted the Los Angeles Clippers to beat them with a final score of 102-95. Both teams had absent players. The Hawks were missing their All star guard, Trae Young, and the Clippers were missing All star forward Kawhi Leonard, All Star forward Paul George, and starting point guard, Patrick Beverly.

The Hawks are currently one of the worst teams in the league, and without their only All star, that makes the team even worse.

The Hawks trailed the Clippers for the majority of the game, except the fourth quarter, where they pulled a comeback. The Hawks came back after firing and making many three pointers, especially by Brandon Goodwin, who had 19 points. Clippers forward Montrezl Harrell had 30 points, enough to win the game if the Clippers teammates played better defense.

The Hawks travel to Oklahoma City for their next game, to take on the Thunder.
